Dave was born and raised in Miami. Five years ago he relocated to Naples after spending 35 years in the suburban Washington, DC area. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Florida and a Master of Science degree in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Miami. He has spent four decades in the information technology field in the private sector, specializing in big databases, data analysis, business intelligence, and security. Dave co-founded the CoStar Group and served as its Chief Information Officer taking it from a fledgling start-up to a multi-billion-dollar public company. He engineered and developed the country’s first industry-accepted computerized commercial real estate multiple listing service, creating a new American service workforce industry. Dave was an IT consultant for the US Air Force Pentagon headquarters automating the worldwide USAF non-aircraft inventory and maintenance systems, and over a decade of software consulting work for complex corporate procurement systems. Dave has been married to wife Sue for 34 years.
